Spotlight On: Lishi Camden
In this blog post we are taking a look at our new Women’s Lishi Tai Chi class in Camden London.
Lishi Tai Chi is renowned for being particularly graceful with a focus on developing the “Yin” or “feminine” way.
Local teacher Vicky Whyte says “Weekly Lishi Classes at Queens Crescent Community Centre have been running successfully now since 2009 but I recently saw the value in making a time where women could get together, create a space for themselves and learn these beautiful movements.”
Regular class attendee Phylis says
“By attending the Queens Lishi class I feel a lot better healthwise”
and Daniela agrees
“I just love coming to my Camden Monday and Thursday classes. Spiritually, mentally and physically the class puts everything just right.”
Vicky continues “The women only classes have been really popular and have proved to be the perfect compliment to the more dynamic Lishi sessions that I run on a Thursday”.
Lishi classes at Queens Community Centre are fun and relaxed so if you’ve always wanted to try an alternative way to get fit, get happy and improve your health this is the class for you. Beginners are always welcome and summer classes are running until the 15th August. Find out more at www.lishi.org/classes/camden or contact Vicky on 07981 589 936
